Sales Support (Part-Time)
Aid the day-to-day retail operations of MR. FRIENDLY. Duties are a blend of customer service, product inventory management, maintaining visual standards, and seasonal events in and around the community of Bedford-Stuyvesant. This is an hourly role that will start at $16/hr with a wage re-evaluation after 2 weeks of on-site training. Please note, this is an IN-PERSON role with an IN-PERSON interview.
Duties include:
35% Customer Service: Greeting / Checkout / Special Orders / Community
20% Backstock: Inventory management, replenishment, delivery receipt/breakdown
15% Pet Consultation: Troubleshoot Pet issues with Customers. No experience needed but pet ownership is a plus.
15% Maintenance: Emphasis on merchandising and maintaining visual standards of the store and brand overall
15% Marketing: Content creation with an understanding of the importance of ‘storytelling’
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 35+ lbs.
- Customer service experience preferred (retail and/or hospitality)
- Two (2) relevant reference
